Atomic Elbow AB was founded October 2004 in Kramfors of northern Sweden by Tomas Jonasson, Simon Jacoby and Peter Bertlin. Atomic Elbows first game project was Crazyball, designed by Fredrik Erlandsson and Johan Wilinger who joined the company together with Jesper Lirbank in 2005. The same year Atomic Elbow won the Swedish Game Awards with Crazyball for Best Game 2005. The game was also entered in the Independent Games Festival 2006, where it was nominated finalist in the technical excellence class. In 2006 the Atomic Elbow office moved to Sundsvall, where the company is currently located.

Atomic Elbow specializes in creating fun and beautiful games in the "casual games" segment. The use of advanced physics simulations used for creating puzzles as well as special effects certainly makes their work stand out. The team also takes pride in their in house developed graphics engine providing stunning graphical quality rarely seen in casual games.

The game Switchball is their first game to be released but more concepts are in works and the team is looking forward to keep on producing great entertaining titles. Atomic Elbow uses an in house cross platform game engine, enabling them to develop first class games for next gen consoles as well as PC.
